To ensure the safety of all during the event, the streets immediately surrounding the school, which serve as the course for the Mile Marathon run, will be closed from 8:30am until 10:30am, or until all the runners are off the course.
The course is as follows:
- The START LINE is on Glenwood Drive and 20th Street.
- Runners will head east on Glenwood Drive and turn south on 23rd Street.
- The route continues southwest onto Forest Avenue and 22nd Street.
- There is a gentle incline as students continue west along Floral Drive.
- The final stretch of the run leads students north on 19th Street.
- The FINISH LINE is back on Glenwood Drive, on the lawn north of Columbine Elementary.
